Mafalda Corrêa Nunes
Mafalda Corrêa Nunes is a PhD fellow at the University of Lisbon - Institute for Social Sciences (ICS-ULisboa). She holds a MA degree in Art Administration and Cultural Policy from Goldsmiths College - University of London and a specialisation degree in Global Urban Studies from the University of Copenhagen. Since 2011, she has been working at the intersection of Arts and Urbanism in project management, research and production. Over the last few years, she has been involved in different action-research projects related to participatory urban regeneration processes and culture-led urban development. Her PhD research draws on her experience working for the Horizon 2020 project “ROCK: Regeneration and Optimization of Cultural Heritage in Creative and Knowledge Cities” - a EU-funded project which was implemented between 2017 and 2020 in the Marvila and Beato neighbourhoods in Lisbon.
