Chris Koubek

Chris Koubek is working in the field of culture with a focus on contemporary music and art, pop-culture and collective forms of organization since 1991. Starting as a musician in several bands and projects he began hosting and curating interdisciplinary events and festivals in 1998. He founded p.m.k, a cultural center with 30 associated initiatives and the Heart of Noise Festival in 2011. Koubek is a member of the advisory board for music of the province of Tyrol, received the Outstanding Artist Award of the Republic of Austria is co-curator of the Alles Gute Festival and takes care of the Workstation, a space with six rehearsal rooms for musicians and bands.
